Pause & Play
St. Louis, MO
30-31 March 2020
Reflect. Wonder. Dream. Question. Prepare.
Now do it: Own it. Get it wrong then try again. Get it right and learn from it all. Celebrate, share, and enjoy it.
It’s not all about the right answers or the right code. It’s about the joy of solving the problem, of trying out new things. Dream and debate. Experiment and execute. Feel the failures and celebrate the successes. In the end, it’s all about an infinite loop of thinking and doing.
Technology is the playground and we get to push the boundaries, climb higher, go faster. But what’s a playground without people? We are a community that works together and plays together. Colleagues yesterday. Friends tomorrow. What will we create today?
This community needs your experiences and your stories. Bring it all to PauseOnError.
Want to get involved?
PauseOnError is a gathering of software developers and consultants who use FileMaker. This is a SELF-ORGANIZING effort; content is created by the attendees who don't just listen to presentations: they participate in discussions, share, and make things. It's taken many forms over the years but, above all, it's just really cool to get together, share our work, get feedback and learn from each other. Check out past events for more.
“This is the real secret of life – to be completely engaged with what you are doing in the here and now. And instead of calling it work, realize it is play.”
― Alan Watts

If you are a dreamer, come in,
If you are a dreamer, a wisher, a liar,
A hope-er, a pray-er, a magic bean buyer…
If you’re a pretender, come sit by my fire
For we have some flax-golden tales to spin.
— Shel Silverstein
Tickets include admission to the conference along with lunch on the 30th and 31st. You'll book your own room at the hotel. We strongly encourage participants to stay at The Last Hotel as that's the best way to connect with other people. Making stronger connections is what this is all about.

You can design and create, and build the most wonderful place in the world. But it takes people to make the dream a reality.
