Hello All- This session will involve some running form basics along with some Tai Chi body looseners. We will do some easy jogging along the trail and discuss turning your exercise practice into a moving meditation. Please feel free to address any questions or concerns in this post.

If you're thinking of running at Pause, would you drop a comment here so we get a sense of how many runners we have. And if there is something you want Jonny to know, like this will be your first run, or your first run in months, or you're the fastest person to ever look at a keyboard, feel free to include that as well.
And please respect the strict dress code for your run: Richard Simmons/Jane Fonda circa 1980. Big hair and aviator shades required.
More info/inspiration for your run is here: https://www.pauseonerror.com/trail-running
(I'm running)
I prefer brisk walks....
If you would like to learn more about Chi running please check out the official chirunning.com website. Check out my profile page as an Instructor (Jonathan Lee) out of Oregon.
Yes, I will be running. (2-3 miles is about my level.)
+1, feel off the wagon but eager to get back into shape
I will be running, if the MRI on my knees come back ok :-)
I'll be running -- but I'm also off the wagon for the past year or so.
Trail running in the hills is probably out of my league. I use to run 35-50 miles a week. These days I'm a daily brisk 5 mile walk at sea level kind of guy. I am bringing my shoes though.
I'll be running. I'm only doing about 12 miles a week (on trails mostly) right now. I'm always interested in improving technique.
This will be my first run.
I will be runing. While I don't run much outside anymore I do get plenty of cario a week. I have soem issues with my SI joints I need to be careful with and some very early spinal stenosis. But, I do know when to stop if something hurts me. I want to get more into run-walking at home and am excited about working something into a moving meditation.
Yes, running. I do about a mile or less on weekends with the horse. Usually downhill on trail after riding up the hill.
I plan on participating, but on a brisk walk / occasional jog pace.
I love the results from running, but always tell myself I'll be bored -- being alone with my thoughts for that long. So I'm definitely looking forward to the practice of both Chi Running and Meditation at Pause! (Otherwise my fitness tracker says I do 15-20 miles/week, in exercise besides pure running. I'm hoping there's untappd potential...)
for those considering running/walking...we saw none of these on Friday:
"Hey, I was promised I'd see skunks" said nobody at Pause...
